Oh, definitely home. I mean... going out is cool, but the only place to really go is the mall. Unless I'm out with my parents. And that's usually someplace nice. Not that there's anything wrong with nice, but.

Now, I guess that if going out is going to a movie, that's cool.

Maybe I'll think different next year, when I can drive. Or, maybe not.

Time at home is nice. There is no chance of me fighting. I can calm down and count the hours until I go back to work without the stress of too many people.

On the other hand? Work is all about being on the town. I get all kinds of information at every bar or dive. I also get to let loose and get a spot of violence in when I really need to just dive into a fight. There is nothing quite like a bar fight to get my blood pumping.

I guess for me it's all about being on the town.

I like going out. I get too antsy if I stay in for too long. I'm an active girl. I need to get out once in a while.

I never actually take these all that seriously, but... 'tis the season, I suppose.

So... stuff I'll probably not bother to do in 2010:

1. Quit smoking (yeah, I know -- health nut smoking as much as I do? Mad. Still not all that likely I'll bother quitting)
2. Stay in touch with Webb, with as little arguing as poss. (Might actually make good on this one)
3. Set (sensible?!) goals with shiny new personal trainer, and make 'em (or else)
4. Don't wind up on steroids again (however much I want to right now).
5. Maybe -- MAYBE -- find my birth parents. Maybe.
6. Find a job I love. (Kinda screwed on this one; I left a job I really really loved because-- well, I just did. New one ain't bad, but I don't care about them like I cared about the old place. I want to find somewhere I don't MIND working twenty-hour days again)

Subject to change, additions, and 'screw that!!!'s as may become appropriate for as long as necessary.

Oh. One I do intend to keep:

1. Civil ceremony, probably within a week of my divorce coming through.

Honestly? With all the vampire-hunting I used to do? I think I've spent enough time out on the town, don't you? I mean sure I'll take her out if that's what she wants or needs. Best-foot-forward regarding whether or not I enjoy it, but I gotta tell ya; a nice conversation can be had just as easily on the couch as when we're at a table waiting for a wine-list. The two of us certainly won't be as open with one another in a crowded room. Yeah. I think I prefer the quiet evenings at home.

That would depend, wouldn't it? I mean okay...
The nights out should be special, shouldn't they? We can't do that all the time. Not every night. Even Disney Land would get boring if we pitched a tent. To be honest, and please tell me if this is too much info because it's been known, but staying home at night is never the problem if you're with the right person.

I’d much MUCH rather go out. Being stuck at home all by your self is boring…And I live in the greatest city ever! We have the best nightlife! Please, please let me have an evening out. I’ve been thwarted twice now in the past week! I just want to go out to dance, drink, and find some really hot guy to make out with. Is that really so much to ask for?

I mean, don’t get me wrong Internets...I like sitting at home watching a movie with a nice cup of tea just as much as the next person but you have to admit it gets boring really fast. Plus, I don’t even have a pet or anything to talk to! It’s complete isolation!

Going out is a better deal all around. I don't have to get my own food/drink, there's dancing, there's other people, and if I get bored then I can just move on to the next place. Plus there's no pretty men waiting to be kissed in my apartment...That's reason enough to go out.
